Landscaper / Garden Maintenance – Full-Time
Location: Landsdale, WA
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm
Position: Full-Time
Rate: $30 – $37 per hour, plus superannuation
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Landscaper / Garden Maintenance professional to join our team on a full-time basis with an immediate start.
The successful applicant/s will have a minimum of 12 months industry experience, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
General garden and landscape maintenance
Lawn mowing and maintenance
Hedging and pruning
Whipper snipping and edging
Ride-on mowing
Cylinder and rotary mowing
Use and maintenance of a range of powered and hand tools
General gardening, clean-up and property maintenance
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Maintaining a safe, clean and professional work environment
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Minimum12months experience in landscaping, gardening or garden maintenance
Proficient and confident using hand and power tools
Experience operating:
Ride-on mowers
Cylinder mowers
Rotary mowers
Hedge trimmers
Whipper snippers
Chainsaws
Edgers
Other common landscaping and garden maintenance equipment
Good understanding of general garden maintenance practices
Ability to identify common diseases, pests and infestations
Basic knowledge of soil and turf treatments
Basic plant knowledge
Basic reticulation knowledge, including the ability to operate different types of controllers
Strong attention to detail
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current driver's licence (C-Class)
Comfortable driving and reversing with a trailer
Preferable:
White Card
Pesticide Technician Licence
Certificate III in Horticulture
