Why haul every tonne of material hundreds of kilometres into a remote project if suitable material is already sitting on site?
That’s where volumetric concrete starts to become seriously useful.
Where existing or recycled material is suitable, tested and compliant with the project specification, Zentech can assess its potential for use within the batching process, then produce the concrete fresh on site, where it’s actually needed.
For remote mines, regional projects and agricultural sites, that can mean:

-reduced material being sent off site as waste
-fewer unnecessary material movements
-less dependence on distant concrete plants
-more productive use of resources already available on the project
The environmental case is real. Australia recovered 22.4 million tonnes of building and demolition material in 2022–23, an 84% recovery rate. Research into recycled-aggregate concrete also identifies reduced demand for virgin aggregate and reduced landfill disposal as key benefits, while showing that transport distance is a major factor in the overall environmental outcome.
That last point matters enormously in regional WA.

Material reuse is always subject to suitability, testing, mix design and project specification, not every waste or recycled material is appropriate for concrete.
