A huge thank you to our many supporters who greatly contributed to the success of our 12th Hawaiian Ride for Youth breakfast.

Thank you to Team MACA for hosting another incredible Hawaiian Ride for Youth Breakfast on Friday 21 February.

Now in its 12th year, the event welcomed 400 attendees to Optus Stadium, where they had the chance to hear from guest speaker John Worsfold and raise important funds for Youth Focus and youth mental health.

We are truly grateful for MACA’s long-standing support, as well as the generosity of all the sponsors who contributed to this special annual event.

After more than five years, MACA has farewelled Eliwana with excitement for the operations’ future as the first of Fortescue’s mines scheduled to go green.

From civil earthworks to full-scale mining and maintenance, our team well and truly made their mark. We remained agile in supporting Fortescue with a growing project, achieved a stretch of more than 600 injury-free days, and even revived a retired fleet of trucks that went on to exceed performance expectations.

We couldn’t be prouder of our time at Eliwana, a project that is not only contributing to the Pilbara’s iron ore production but driving new technology for a sustainable future.

This year, MACA celebrates 15 years in partnership with the Starlight Children's Foundation Australia, and we couldn’t be prouder to champion their exceptional work.

Through play, creativity and social connection, Starlight helps sick children to forget their illness and rediscover the joys of childhood.

We recently had the privilege of visiting their Express Playroom at PCH, witnessing not only the complete magic created by the Captains and Volunteers, but the laughter of many little people!

The annual Starlight Super Swim starts on Saturday 1 February, so join us and many other Aussies by diving into this self-paced challenge to swim for a super cause – https://superswim.org.au/

Together, we can make more than just a splash!

From starting as a Dump Truck Operator to now training the next generation, Dan’s 10-year journey at Duketon is proof that age is just a number. At 68, he’s seen the site grow but says the family feel remains the same. To Dan, there’s nothing better than helping someone else succeed and feeling proud of their achievements! Ten years ago, Dan joined the Duketon Operation as a Dump Truck Operator (DTO), just as the project was getting started.

Whilst he's seen great expansion at Duketon, Dan says the feeling of family and camaraderie on-site hasn’t changed at all.

Now as a Crew Trainer, you can find him in the trucks helping the next generation of DTO’s to make their mark.

‘I get a real sense of accomplishment being part of someone else’s career journey, you can’t help but feel proud in celebrating their successes.’

Today, on National Mining Day, we celebrate MACA’s 22-year journey.

From small beginnings in the Goldfields, to delivering major mining projects across WA and Cambodia, we have grown through innovation, reliability, and safety.

Our people continue to be the cornerstone of our success, and MACA’s proudest asset. With their expertise and our ever-expanding fleet, we harness technology to deliver on our promise of performance for clients.

While our resources and construction capabilities have vastly expanded, mining will always be at the heart of MACA!
