A curved dark joinery wall wraps the corner between the kitchen and dining, with a bar and built-in w**e rack set into it. It’s designed to be sleek and functional, without overpowering the space.

It starts with a built-in drop zone for the family’s everyday essentials. Further along, a glass-fronted cellar sits against the same Bodega stone that runs up the stairwell, lit under a skylight that carries daylight straight down through the middle of the home.⁠

The island deserves to be the feature.⁠

Curved detailing, warm timber tones and natural stone give this Manning Residence kitchen real presence, while still keeping it practical for everyday family life. From the sculptural fluted island to the bar nook and scullery tucked neatly out of sight, the space is robust, relaxed and made for more than one person to move through at once.⁠
