We are proud to announce the completion of an an upgrade to one of our biggest ever commercial installations. 🎊 The original system featured a massive 1 MW 🙌 however the client said they could use a bit more solar energy. This upgrade has added another 235 kW to the system, totalling 1.235 MW 🤯

Today is summer solstice in the southern hemisphere! The word "solstice" itself is derived from the Latin words "sol" (Sun) and "sistere" (to stand still). This name reflects the fact that, around the time of the solstice, the Sun's apparent movement in the sky slows down and briefly seems to pause before reversing direction. It's a significant event in various cultures and has been celebrated in different ways throughout history.

We'll be celebrating by putting the tools down and continue after the Xmas break to upgrade our 1 MW installation. See you all in the new year. 😀☀️☀️☀️

This customer came to us saying his old system wasn't able to meet his current demand. To this we said no problem👌. His new & improved system features a larger inverter & array, a Tesla Powerwall battery and a Tesla car charger☀️🚗🔋. We're so proud to have delivered this 100kW solar power system on the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries in Leederville. Yet another quality installation for the City of Vincent ☀️🔌💡

We recently installed a 100kW system with 273 solar panels on the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries ’ building in Leederville ☀️

The system will provide around 27% of the building’s annual electricity consumption with cost savings of $50k per year.

Some Exciting news in the renewable energy sector.
The Collie battery: a 4,000 MWh battery being built in 800 MWh stages. Stage 1 is expected to be completed late 2024 - early 2025. These batteries are being used to change WA towards net zero emissions by 2050 as well replace existing coal fired power stations.

Running your car off sunlight sounds like a fairytale but with a PV system in conjunction with a Fronius charger it is possible. Using a rooftop PV system with a car charger means savings on fuel costs as well as an environmentally friendly method of travel. In addition to this you may choose to only use the excess solar you are producing to charge your vehicle when in eco mode.

Heads up, Synergy will do a "routine test" of their Emergency Solar Management (ESM) today. As far as we know, this is their first test since the system was introduced in March last year. Only systems with inverters of 5 kW and less are part of this program and only systems that were installed since March 2022.
All other systems will operate as usually today.

As with any test, keep calm and enjoy the ride. Should your system stop producing power, it will automatically reconnect once the test is over. If you have any questions, please get in touch with us.
