During these uncertain times, we at Metropolitan Lock Service understand that everyone is concerned about Covid-19 and the impact it will have on the community and essential services.
What is Metropolitan Lock Service doing to protect their customers?
-We have updated our policies and procedures to include training implemented by the Department of Health - COVID-19 Infection Control Training (certificate attached).
-We are practicing social distancing with all our customers and contractors. When contacting our customers before attending, we are asking for a status regarding overseas return and if experiencing any symptoms as described by the Department of Health.
-Before commencement of work, we are donning gloves and wiping down work surfaces ie. Door handles etc.
Post completion, surfaces are once again cleaned and PPE disposed of safely.
-Customers/Clients will have an opportunity to pay via contactless payment. Our EFTPOS machine is safely covered and cover disposed of post transaction completed.
What is required from our Customers/Contractors?
-Social distancing of at least 1.5 metres at all times.
-Advise staff of recent overseas travel or having been in contact with anyone returned from overseas travel. Advise staff if signs/symptoms of illness experienced.
-Open and honest communication.
-Importance of hand sanitising/washing as advised by the Department of Health.
-We will be trading as normal for as long as we are able.
