We totally agree with this article !!!
Real turf is as Waterwise as a native garden as long as the irrigation system is correctly installed and providing perfect watering of 10mm per square meter that it requires to be a lush surface. Then it’s mowing fortnightly and a fertiliser with a high quality product every 3 months, if you combine the fert with a pre emergent herbicide and a residual insecticide you will have a perfect w**d free lawn with little effort 🙌

Bunuru falls over the February-March calendar period and is the hottest time of the year in Noongar boodja (country), with little to no rain.

Are you getting some landscaping and paving / concreting done soon?

BEFORE you get the paving / concreting done, it is best practice to run PVC pipe under all your lawn and paving / concreting - not the black poly pipe, that one is best for in the garden beds only.

In fact, the ultimate best future proofing you can do is to run a PVC sheath under all paving and retic, and then run your 25mm or 20mm PVC pipe through that sheath. This will protect your PVC pipe from compression and minimise the risk of under driveway / under concrete leaks, which can be super expensive and painful to rectify.

Most builders / concreters / pavers will run the PVC sheaths for you - the foward thinking ones usually insist you do it, especially if you don't have any retic in place already.

Always pre-think - how will you get water from your mains to your garden as part of your landscape design, especially if you are DIY'ing it.

Must have current driver license as a minimum requirement. You will need to this to drive company vehicles from our warehouse in Clarkson to sites around Perth.

It’s a full time roll or part time you can decide, we are paying above award hourly rates plus overtime, with some very occasional country work is involved throughout the year. All cost paid for by us.

Previous landscaping installation experience is essential and paving experience is an advantage so don’t be shy and apply.

Must have experience in Paving and limestone wall construction. Irrigation and sod landscaping experience important but not essential as we will teach you.
You will need a license and transport to our office in Clarkson
Will need to work in a team environment.

There is enough said about this horrid product. Yes there are good spaces for synthetic turf but the vast majority of its use and excuses as to why it should be used are just as horrid as the product itself.

I count myself lucky having a very small garden in London. It won’t win any horticultural prizes and “No Mow May” is the perfect excuse for benign neglect. But it has grass, the shade of an old apple tree and a water feature, and, in this heatwave, it’s a sanctuary. Most people have the same...
