It's just so terrific to get this kind of feedback from our wonderful clients:
"Conducting a major renovation on our house was one of the biggest financial choices (and riskiest) we have made and I’m happy to say that we made the right choice going with Sertorio Homes.

We went to around 5 builders for quotes with a good level of detail on how we wanted to house to look. Sertorio charged a small fee to do a site visit and provide an estimated price for the renovation which we found well put together and competitive. I can’t stress enough to make sure you ask the builder to not just price what you ask for but get their own ideas, since what you might think is expensive doesn’t add that much to the price but adds great value to the home.

Next step was contacting previous clients to get feedback on their experiences. I spoke to 3 and the feedback was great. I also gained some pointers on my own renovation works.
We were happy to proceed with the detailed design drawing stage only at this point since we felt there was still some optimization/improvements to do with the design that would impact the pricing. Sertorio had no issues proceeding with this stage without signing a contract yet.

During this stage we got full drawings done up and a 3D fly through of the house to look at which helped us make major adjustments to the overall design. After further back and forth we were happy with the price and the design and proceeded to sign the contract.

After council approval, demolition started mid July 2023 and we were back in the house middle of March 2024 (just in time to move back in before 2nd child was born!). All the trades used by Sertorio had been with them for years and the quality was high. When an issue did arise it got resolved quickly. We were able to work in with the trades when doing the painting and timber flooring (managed by us) which was important to be able to move back into the house on time. Jake our supervisor had great communication and kept us informed of what was happening and when.

There were design changes during the renovation works and these variations were priced fairly. We followed Sertorios suggestion in supplying certain items ourselves to save money. They gave us a list good contacts to use as well, which turned out great. Appliances, wardrobes etc.

RECENTLEY COMPELTED
This Hamptons style project involved renovation works to the ground floor and the addition of a large second storey to the upper level.

Ground floor works included removing a wall from existing bedroom, which then opened up the kitchen to the backyard. A large picture window and stacking doors were put into the existing alfresco which showcased the pool and garden area.

The second storey addition comprises of a main bedroom, dressing area, ensuite with powder room, activity room and one minor bedroom.

RECENTLY COMPLETED
This project involved a major makeover including renovation and extension to the ground floor and a new second story. The second story comprises two new bedrooms, activity room and bathroom. To the front of the home a large garage with storeroom was built along with a new portico which features a pivoting entry door. A new alfresco was added to the rear which features a raked timber ceiling. Internal remodel includes a new kitchen and scullery, while the exterior was renovated included texture coat and Colorbond re-roof.

This Marmion home was extended to create more room for family.
The side of the home was extended to create a new master bedroom a with built-in robes, parent’s retreat, and kitchenette. The parents retreat has a modern finish raked ceiling with shadow line.
Additionally, new study, bedroom, bathroom and walk-in robe was incorporated in the build.

This project involves a second storey extension along with extensions to the ground floor.
The ground floor extensions are to the rear of home, which include extending the existing family room plus adding a new gym room, master bedroom and ensuite.
The innovative second level comprises a new music room for a family of music enthusiasts. The design features double glazed windows and doors, along with acoustic walls and insulation.

Second storey addition comprising a study, master bedroom, ensuite with walk-in robe and one extra bedroom.
Featuring extensive glass to the front elevation with raked windows in the main living area.
A large void over the staircase with timber polished treads, glass balustrading and timber handrails has created a main feature as you walk through the front entry of the home.

RECENTLY COMPLETED
More space for a growing family. As there was limited space on the ground a second story was designed to include a Parents Retreat, Master Bedroom, Ensuite and Walk in Robe.
Maintaining the original character of the home was essential, with the front façade blending seamlessly with the existing home. The new addition also features a large window to the rear of the property to capture the north facing aspect and the terrain below.
The extension also included Double Glazed Windows throughout, Under Floor Heating to the Ensuite, Porcelain Tiles to walls and floor and Stone Tops complemented the overall finish.

RECENTLY COMPLETED
This home that was built in the late 80s has been fast-tracked to 2021. The front of the home was extended consisting of a new master bedroom, ensuite and an extra bedroom. Also, an existing bedroom was modified to become a new home theatre. The home has been aesthetically changed into a Hampton style home, finished by using James Hardie Primeline weatherboard as an external wall cladding with sand finish to the dado.

A new indoor alfresco and living area extended to the rear of home which overlooks the pool. The new area has three sets of premium stacking doors with fixed hi-lite windows above which allows an ample amount of natural light in and a great view of the pool area below.

The new addition has a Colorbond skillion roof in colour ‘Surfmist’ and has a raked ceiling with shadowline cornices.

The room also features a brick fireplace, built using ‘Contempo Madrid’ bricks on the end wall and polished concrete floors.
