✨ December Bright Spark - Jayden! ✨

Jayden joined Maali Group as a Leading Hand in our Infrastructure team, and from the moment he started he has exemplified many qualities that align with our five core pillars, particularly MATESHIP. His willingness to assist with any task and his exceptional ability to communicate and teach those around him has only further strengthened our electrical apprentices.

Jayden has been actively involved in our Infrastructure projects, and he will shortly be stepping up into a new role as Supervisor and leading his own project. His high standard of work has impressed our clients and elevated the overall quality within Maali Group.

As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on a year that has had some turbulent times however also on a year that showcased our teams strength and unwavering commitment to the values and change that Maali has always endeavoured to create.

We want to take a moment to thank our clients, suppliers and contractors; this year would not have been possible without their steadfast belief in the Maali team.

We are incredibly excited for 2025, which looks to be one of our biggest years yet!

Maali Group was thrilled to have our team mates join the Regis Resources team at 2024's MERC event, securing an impressive 3rd place overall!

Their dedication to emergency response and readiness, rescue, and teamwork was unparalleled, and we couldn’t be prouder to see their hard work pay off.

The MERC event brought together 18 teams from across the resources industry to compete in a range of incident-specific scenarios and showcase their general emergency response readiness.

At Maali Group, we were honored to celebrate Indigenous Literacy Day with an incredible yarning session by Jayden Boundry, author of Noongar Boodja Waangkan: Noongar First Words. Jayden captivated the children and team members of Maali Group with Dreamtime stories and shared the beautiful sounds of the Yirdaki (Didgeridoo).

This enriching experience not only deepened our appreciation for Noongar culture but also gave us the opportunity to learn more about the traditions and history of the region. As a special gift, the Maali team received a Aboriginal culture book, to continue sharing these important stories.

Together, we celebrate and honour the rich cultural heritage of the Noongar people.

🌟 The team at Maali Group and Halo Civil Engineering came together for a wonderful gathering with damper, cupcakes, and a cup of tea to chat about NAIDOC, and the importance of the continuation of culture for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. This year's theme, "Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud," resonated deeply with us as we focused on sharing knowledge; celebrating the richness of our heritage and the strength of our communities.

The morning also served as a special opportunity for Neville Collard, a Noongar Elder, to bless the partnership between Maali Group and Halo Civil Engineering.
