As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on a year that has had some turbulent times however also on a year that showcased our teams strength and unwavering commitment to the values and change that Maali has always endeavoured to create.

Maali Group was thrilled to have our team mates join the Regis Resources team at 2024's MERC event, securing an impressive 3rd place overall!

Their dedication to emergency response and readiness, rescue, and teamwork was unparalleled, and we couldn’t be prouder to see their hard work pay off.

The MERC event brought together 18 teams from across the resources industry to compete in a range of incident-specific scenarios and showcase their general emergency response readiness.

At Maali Group, we were honored to celebrate Indigenous Literacy Day with an incredible yarning session by Jayden Boundry, author of Noongar Boodja Waangkan: Noongar First Words. Jayden captivated the children and team members of Maali Group with Dreamtime stories and shared the beautiful sounds of the Yirdaki (Didgeridoo).

This enriching experience not only deepened our appreciation for Noongar culture but also gave us the opportunity to learn more about the traditions and history of the region. As a special gift, the Maali team received a Aboriginal culture book, to continue sharing these important stories.

Together, we celebrate and honour the rich cultural heritage of the Noongar people.
