Floor Finisher β Full Time
We are seeking an experienced Floor Finisher to join our team on a full-time basis. Immediate Start !

Salary: AUD $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
Hours: minimum 38 hours per week, plus reasonable additional hours with overtime pay
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for measuring, cutting, installing, repairing and finishing a range of floor coverings for residential and commercial projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Measure floor areas and prepare surfaces for installation.
Cut, fit and install carpet, timber, vinyl, resin and other floor coverings.
Sand, stain, polish and apply finishing coatings to timber floors where required.
Mix and apply resin flooring systems where required.
Repair, replace and maintain damaged flooring.
Read and interpret plans, drawings and job specifications.
Use hand tools, power tools and flooring equipment safely.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.
Liaise with supervisors, clients and other trades on site.
Skills and Experience Required
Minimum 2+ years of relevant full-time experience as a Floor Finisher or similar trade role; or
Relevant trade qualification such as Certificate III or Certificate IV in flooring, floor technology, construction trades or equivalent.
Experience with carpet, timber, vinyl, resin and/or commercial flooring installation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
Current driverβs licence preferred.
White Card or ability to obtain one.
