SITE SUPERVISOR
We are seeking a well organised site supervisor with a keen eye for detail to manage multiple small to medium sized projects in the Perth metro area.
The ideal candidate will be from a carpentry trade background and be able to demonstrate experience working within commercial projects.
Primarily the site supervisor will ensure the progression of site development. The site supervisor must delegate to employees and sub-contractors to achieve practical completion of multiple projects concurrently.
Role Summary:
Reporting to the Construction Manager you will take complete ownership of all trades on site
Manage full time staff and sub-contractors
Implement and manage our HSEQ Systems and ensure it is adhered to by full time employees and sub-contractors
Delivery of all projects on time
Supervise multiple sites with various levels of complexity and size
Maintain a good reputation with our clients by offering a premium customer service
Ensure projects conform to specification, meeting relevant state legislative requirements and Australian Standards
Monitor project programs (MS Project) and contractor performance
Supervise night shifts and weekends as required
Site checklists and reports
The Successful Applicant Must Have:
Strong leadership and delegation skills
Previous experience in a similar role within the Commercial Building Industry
A practical understanding of commercial building methodology
A proactive, hands on management style and can-do attitude
High level of competency with computer systems including Microsoft software and email reporting
Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain good relationships with construction teams and clients
