⚡️COLIN'S EXPLOREX 800AH OFF-GRID UPGRADE⚡️

We recently had the pleasure of upgrading Colin's 2016 Explorex caravan, The battery management system was a little outdated, this van was built to last so we fit an Off-Grid system to suit

The Install:

800AH of chassis mount AllSpark Lithium batteries
courtesy of Offroad Living These batteries are a great option to maximize your storage and they’re built to last with a 7 year warranty!
1200Watts of AllSpark Solar panels on the roof
to maximize efficiency and Solar yield we’ve separated the system into 2 x 600w arrays through twin 50a Victron solar regulators
for vehicle charging weve got a 50amp victron dc-dc charger
powering the entire 240v system with automatic transfer we have a Victron 3000va multiplus with built in 120amp 240v charger
The entire system is monitored via the victron 7inch touch screen and cerbo system which allows for remote monitoring and control
every component is bluetooth compatible giving you absolute control from the touch of a button

every component in this install carries a minimum of 5 year warranty as-well as our 5 year Ace Off-Grid Workmanship Guarantee

its safe to say Colin wont be needing an upgrade anytime soon

Too hot for solar??
We recently had another camper come in with incorrectly installed flexible solar panels 🫠
Flexible panels can’t be directly fit to a flat surface due to the heat that they generate, this client was getting 100w out of his 500w system 🤒
We removed the heat damaged panels and fit 5 x 120w super slim Allspark flexible panels from Offroad Living
These solar panels come ready with a corflute layer for airflow and heat dissipation as well as ready to go 3m tape
Allspark Panels always outperform the competition and are our go to for an Off-Grid caravan with weight restrictions

⚡️Steve’s Caravan update & upgrade⚡️

The Boys at Ace Off-Grid did a great job bringing this absolute mess up to standard

We also installed a new 800w solar system aswell as battery monitoring and chargers to suit

Now Steve can travel with the peace of mind that his van won’t spontaniously combust 🔥 😅
