We're thrilled to be a finalist in the 2026 Civil Contractors Federation WA Earth Awards for our civil infrastructure and landscaping works at 1909 Subi East for DevelopmentWA !

Set on the former Princess Margaret Hospital site, 1909 is transforming one of Perth's most loved landmarks into a vibrant inner-city precinct that honours its history. Our scope included services and road networks for the precinct's six apartment lots, new green spaces and a public plaza, delivered around the heritage-listed Old Outpatients Building, Godfrey House and the historic Boiler House.

The project follows our award-winning demolition and remediation of the PMH site, so it's a privilege to be back in the running for the next chapter - and to see the precinct now open to the community.

We're a finalist in the $10M-$30M project value category, among a record 27 projects entered this year.

This weekend, WA comes together for the 59th Telethon - 26 hours of entertainment, inspiring stories and giving, broadcast live from RAC Arena on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October.

RJV is proud to support Telethon this year, taking four rows of virtual seats through the West Coast Eagles 'Take Your Seat for WA Kids' campaign, with 100% of funds going directly to Telethon.

Every dollar helps fund life-changing programs, equipment and research for sick, vulnerable and disadvantaged children and their families across WA.

Practical completion at Lefroy!

Our team has reached practical completion on civil works at the former Beaconsfield TAFE site for DevelopmentWA - and the finished job looks fantastic.

Part of the Lefroy precinct just minutes from Fremantle, the project lays the foundation for a new medium-density neighbourhood of 82 residential lots and two mixed use / group housing lots.

Our scope included:
- Earthworks
- Underground services and stormwater drainage
- Retaining walls
- Road construction

Big credit to the whole project team for getting this one looking the way it does.

Shout-out to the RJV crew at Yanchep Golf Estate for living every one of our RJV Foundations, every day.

Their positive attitude and the respect they show each other is what drives the outcomes they deliver on site.

Every stage has been delivered to a high standard, across sewer, stormwater and common trench, through to the finished product handed over at PC and FTI.

A new Yanmar Global posi track loader has joined the fleet.

Operator experience was a key focus in this machine, with premium 360-degree visibility and a standard suspended seat for enhanced comfort, while a removable roof hatch escape optimises safety.

Another addition to keep our crews well equipped as work ramps up across our civil and urban projects.

Congratulations to our Beaconsfield TAFE site team for winning our RJV Q2 Safety Award!

Sites are judged on inspection performance, action ratio, average audit score, incident count and incident action ratio. The team at Beaconsfield delivered across all of it in a complex project environment.

What stood out most was the proactive engagement with safety processes, along with the leadership, accountability and resilience shown right across the quarter.

Team RJV was out in force last Sunday - taking on either the 4km or the 12km from Perth City to City Beach for the Chevron City to Surf for GenU .

The conditions were kind, the blue shirts were everywhere and a fabulous time was had by all.
