Our recently completed Hunter Valley project in Millfield has (almost) come to a close!

Our lovely clients, Cathy & Ross, wanted to expand not only their outdoor entertaining area but also their indoor dining space. The new entertaining area was designed to feel like it’s always been part of the home with an extended roofline.

One of the standout features is the honed concrete Bondek suspended slab, especially the stairs! We also relocated the existing composite decking to create an uncovered space, paired with a Firmlok pergola that will be seasonally shaded by a grapevine canopy.

To extend the indoor dining area, we removed the existing sliding door and wall, creating a bigger indoor space. An outdoor kitchen is to come, which is going to really finish this space off.

What an absolute pleasure this project was to complete for our awesome clients. We hope this new space gets all the use it deserves!

This project was a fun one to undertake! Designed to incorporate a Balinese style protruding roof with modern monument Colorbond hip design. The client chose 600x600 tiles for the main platform with a modwood deck on the front. Curtain rods have also been installed for 2 sets of curtains around the perimeter.
