This property in Officer went from high maintenance and outdated to a clean, low-maintenance space that actually looks good and gets used.
We started by excavating and stripping everything back, removing existing garden beds, turf, and rotted out decking. We rebuilt it from the ground up. Installed 55sqm of concrete wrapping around the house, finished with a charcoal sealer for a sharp look and long-term durability.
Added a retained garden bed with simple, low-maintenance plants and finished it off with large river pebbles to brighten the space.
The standout space was a Bali style hangout area featuring concrete, bamboo fence panels, fixed merbau seating, and a centrepiece water feature, built to be used, not just looked at.
Topped it all off with a live edge timber slab bar to bring the whole area together and enjoy the space.
