Just received the certification from the German Passivhaus Institute for this modest farm home on Gunditj Mirring country.
Welcome Australia`s 52nd certified Passivhaus `PLUS` building
(that`s a regular Passivhaus with extra onsite renewable power generation)
The clients willingly (and bravely) let go of many `nice-to-haves` to drop it to budget - but they never doubted the exceptional comfort of a PH. They had experienced warm Scandinavian homes, so for this home they simply could not step backwards into cold and leaky Aussi biz-as-usual.
Once you know cozyness, it`s hard to forget.
