Three apples in total this year. Sigh!
Loving the cooler weather though, and any second now it is going to rain 😂 Then I am going to have so much food I will definitely be sharing it with Padbury Community Garden Inc.

Update on the seeding experiment, sharing success with Padbury Community Garden Inc.

About two weeks after planting, and these are some of the things I have learned:
Strawberries seem to prefer growing in pots
Fennel, English spinach, silverbeet and parsley all do better germinated in pots and then planted out.
Beetroot seed is better planted straight into the ground or raised bed, soaking over night definitely helps.
Rocket seed is better planted straight into the ground or bed.
Chillies and capsicums are harder to get started.
Random plants seem to do best when you forget to label them 😊
Oh and, paper daisies don't like mulch, and I am pretty sure my celery seed is too old.
