Little project for our client from a preschool we look after, who wanted to buy a weaving station, these were sold Out Accross Australia so we built one on the secret and delivered it to the daycare over the weekend hope they enjoy it as much as the little apprentice enjoyed making it.

We were asked to remove the old treated pine decking boards and replace them with fresh new merbau.

Once we started lifting the boards, we quickly realised the existing joists were too far gone to safely support a new deck — so instead of cutting corners, we replaced them to ensure the safety, strength and long life of the build.

The roof posts covering the deck were also completely rotten and weren’t properly attached to anything 😬 — so we rectified that properly to make sure everything is solid and secure.

✅ Brand new joists installed
✅ Joists protected with joist protection tape
✅ 140x19 merbau decking boards laid
✅ New matching set of stairs built
✅ Roof structure secured and reinforced

The end result? It’s come up looking amazing 👌

The rich merbau finish has completely transformed the space, and the clients are absolutely stoked. They can’t wait to spend time out there with family and friends enjoying their new outdoor area.

Another pool area brought up to code by CJs Carpentry Services 👌

We extended the existing fence using pool-compliant slattice from to match in seamlessly with the original boundary.

From there, we custom built a new timber fence section to ensure full pool compliance — constructed using premium 42x19 Merbau slats for a clean, modern finish. And using truclose hinges and latch

🎯 Designed to look like a seamless wall — with no obvious gaps or visible gate lines

The planning and attention to detail on this one makes the gate virtually invisible, blending perfectly into the fence line while still meeting all pool safety regulations.

The little apprentice got involved with this little job. We pulled of the old decking and De-nailed it. We replaced the rotted stringers and made sure the new ones were treated and also applied joist tape for extra protection. We then put the old boards back on for the client.

Front entrance upgrade complete 🔨🚪
We removed the old solid door that was blocking out natural light and replaced it with a stunning new Hume Savoy entrance door.
To keep things consistent, we re-installed the existing Gainsborough Omni Tri-Lock onto the new door.
The result? A brighter, more welcoming entry that lets the light shine straight through the home ✨

Quick update on our longest day donation tally. As a team, we are at $1356 raised, and that’s amazing, but we can do better.
