Fun fact: these screw piles reached depths of 14 metres below ground — about as tall as a five-storey building.

Screw piles are individually engineered to suit the loads of the building above, transferring that weight into stable soil deep below the surface. Once they’re load-verified, concrete footings are poured over the top before we form and pour the slab above.

Screw piles are essential in sandy areas like this to ensure loads are transferred effectively into stable ground below.
