The reason I do what I do is simple. To be an example to my children that you donโ€™t have to do what youโ€™ve always done, just because itโ€™s comfortable. You CAN choose to do something you love, follow your passion, no matter how difficult it may seem and make a living off it.

After 14 years in Gyprock and Plastering, I felt the need to evolve. I fell in love with decorative finishes and the challenge of reinventing myself through a new craft. While plastering will always be part of what I do in some capacity, my true passion is creating surfaces with character and bringing spaces to life.

My name is Bryce. A father, husband and someone who simply loves a good laugh. Iโ€™ve worked in the construction industry since 2009 and started my own business in 2013. Proudly a plasterer by trade, Iโ€™ve since expanded into Venetian Plaster and Microcement, with a passion for continually refining my craft and becoming the best tradesman and artist I can be in the world of decorative finishes.

A completely customised creation for our wonderful client Katie Pol
From start to finish, this fireplace feature was carefully curated to her every desire.

It was an honour to bring this beauty to life and make it everything our client had dreamed of.

Big shout out to Dan from DJC MEDIA for the start to finish footage. Absolute legend.

Hi all. Welcome to

I just want to take this chance to introduce myself to anyone that isnโ€™t familiar. My name is Bryce and I am the Director and Creator here at B Jones Inspiring Finishes. Formerly known as โ€˜B Jones Plasteringโ€™, I have been proudly operating since 2013 in and around the Newcastle, Port Stephens and Hunter Valley regions. I have recently had a rebranding to the name above for the simple reason of expanding not only my skills, but the ideas and creativities in finishing techniques of construction. Whether it be the beautiful art of Venetian Plaster, Microcement, Decorative Cornice, Gyprock Plastering or even Custom Coated furniture, my aim is pretty self explanatoryโ€ฆ. to bring โ€˜inspiring finishesโ€™ to all who put their trust in me for their visions.

Stay tuned for some great upcoming projects, and feel free to contact me if you have something special you would like to see come to life with my passion and precision for a high end result.
