We are seeking a qualified Plumber or Plumber Gas Fitter to join our team.
About us.
We are a small family owned business located in the Derwent Valley servicing all areas of Southern Hobart.
We specialise in Residential and Commercial plumbing services including new construction and maintenance.
We have a number of residential and commercial projects underway and to start in the upcoming months as well as a busy maintenance schedule.
Minimum Cert 3 Qualification required
• Great working conditions on offer, including Dual Cab Work Vehicle
**Key responsibilities**
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems for residential and commercial clients
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues; provide preventative and prescriptive solutions
• Ensure all work meets industry standards and building codes
• Time management skills
• Provide excellent customer service and always maintain a high level of professionalism
• Able to manage multiple jobs at any given time
• Able to work with apprentices, and delegate work amongst team
• Good organisation skills including preparation ahead of jobs
About you
• Proven experience as a plumber
• Ability to read and interpret plans
• Valid plumbing license
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience in both residential and commercial plumbing, civil storm water, sewer drainage, fire hydrants etc. desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude
• Be willing to travel to different job sites across Greater Hobart
• Has their own set of hand tools
• Shows initiative, an eagerness to learn and grow, determined and trustworthy
