Is it time to get out your tent after winter? Spring can bring some great weather and with school holidays upon us, maybe a camping trip is on the cards.

Where is your favourite place to go camping?

Another great before and after shot from a job.

Did you know we provide before and after photos to all of our customers?

It means you don’t have to get on the roof to see what we have done. Great piece of mind to know we have done your job well.

Also sometimes a little bit of a shock when you see just what was in your gutters in the ‘before’ photo.

“I'll be using them every 6 months”

We love hearing this!

Regular gutter cleaning every 6 months or yearly is a great way to stay on top of leaf build-up and keep your gutters flowing properly, without having to remember to book it each time.

And the best part? We can set up scheduled cleans for you.

We’ll keep your 6-monthly or yearly clean on the calendar, so when it’s time, you don’t have to think about it, chase us up or remember when the last clean was.

Just clean gutters, on repeat.

Want to set up a regular gutter cleaning schedule for your property? Get in touch with Gutter-Vac Adelaide Hills today on 1300 654 253 or send us a message!

Gutter Guards…. So much wrong information out there about them.

The biggest one is that with a gutter guard you will ‘never have to clean your gutters again!’ – WRONG!

You will still need to have your gutters cleaned. Maybe not as often, but no gutter guard will ever stop all debris going into your gutters and more often what we see is that seeds will get through the gutter guard and cause growth right up and through the gutter guard.

This is why we recommend our Gutter-Flow. It will stop all the leafy matter building up in your gutters, but still allow water to flow through the gutters so that they do their job. The best bit is, they are easy to install – and more importantly – remove for easy gutter cleaning. Once removed, gutters cleaned, we can simply put the Gutter-Flow back in the gutters.

If you have a fixed Gutter guard (that is it is screwed down mesh), then it means we have to unscrew it, clean and then attempt to put the gutter guard back down. This basically more than doubles the workload and therefore, will more than double the price of cleaning your gutters. We have lots of customers that ask us to simply remove the gutter guard for good.

If you have more questions on this or want to discuss your gutter guard situation, give us a call on 1300 654 253.

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s out there!

We took over the Adelaide Hills area from my parents, so getting to continue something that they built together has been pretty special.

There’s a lot of hard work, lessons and plenty of memories behind the business, and I’m very grateful to have had Dad there to help guide me along the way.

Here’s to all the Dads who teach us, support us, lend a hand when we need it and probably give us a few unsolicited work tips along the way!

🐾 Happy International Dog Day! 🐾

Today we’re celebrating all the four-legged legends who bring a little extra joy to our lives!❤️

While we’re out and about cleaning gutters, we’re lucky enough to meet plenty of gorgeous dogs along the way. From friendly greetings at the gate to curious little supervisors watching us work, they’re definitely one of the best parts of the job!
