Why are we doing this?

At Yarra Junction Cricket Club, we genuinely believe everyone deserves the chance to experience what local cricket is all about.

We’re more than just a cricket club—we’re a community built on friendship, respect and a shared love of the game. Whether you’ve played hundreds of games, are returning after years away, or have never picked up a bat or ball before, you’ll be welcomed from day one.

We know joining a new club can feel daunting, and registration costs can often be the biggest hurdle to giving cricket a go.

That’s why we’re removing that barrier.

If you’ve never played senior cricket for Yarra Junction before, your first season’s club registration is completely FREE. The only cost is the $36.50 Cricket Australia insurance fee.

We’re making this investment because we believe that once you experience our culture, our people and everything our club has to offer, you’ll understand why so many proudly call Yarra Junction home.

Our first pre-season session last night was a fantastic success, with a great turnout and plenty of excitement already building for the season ahead. There has never been a better time to come down, meet the group and see what we’re all about.
