A beautiful Sunday to get stuck into a large lawn renovation. A lot of moss build up close to the house has been reduced right down and the kikuyu main lawn thinned out to promote new lateral growth and reduce thatch build up

Coming out of the winter 🥶 and so close to spring.

East Gambier Football & Netball Club are hosting the Limestone Coast Football Netball League - Est.2024 U12 carnival on Sunday and the preparations continue for West Gambier Football Club as they host the the 1st semi on Saturday week.

They way these ovals have come through the rigours of football in the South East and some solid rains is sensational and proves that good practice creates a great opportunity

Getting the call to make the Hatherleigh Eagles oval Elite for the MSEFL Grand Final. My 1st home club, the club where my father played and coached is a privilege to work on!

The volunteers who put in the work have done a fantastic job on this oval and to be trusted for the final touches is absolutely amazing ❤️

The end of the “working week” is always a bit of extra excitement and we wait for clock off time!

This week I can’t thank my fiance Rachel Griffiths our parents and kids as we moved into our new home and with that the working week has changed slightly to accommodate this.

Finals footy is not far away and my work will continue on the weekend with Hatherleigh hosting the Grand Final for the Mid South Eastern Football League

For those that continue to follow the progression of this oval, 10 days ago the oval had the turf rake over it to bring the leaf back growing how it should be. The fertiliser the week prior to that is really starting to improve the density as well

East Gambier Football & Netball Club v Casterton-Standford Football Netball Club with East hosting their past players day and West Gambier Football Club v Demons this weekend in the Limestone Coast Football Netball League - Est.2024

Winter in Mount Gambier has seen 220mm of rainfall so far so to see the ovals looking in this condition is very impressive. West Gambier Football Club had a fertiliser application and a penetrant application this week to help get the grass moving and remove as much water as possible as it holds more moisture than any other football oval in town and the good news is it would be rated a good 5 😏
