A safe electrical system is paramount to having a safe home for your family. And that is exactly what we were trying to achieve at our client's family home in Seaford.

When I was in the ceiling doing some other electrical jobs, I noticed two single insulated cables in the roof. I tested them just in case and found that they were live. This was a very unsafe situation.

Upon investigation I found that these cables were connected directly into a power circuit inside the switchboard.

I quickly disconnected them and made the situation safe. I found one of the cables was just laying in the ceiling and one was directly behind a light switch sitting live in the wall with absolutely no protection on it. They were both just laying in the ceiling ran over ceiling joists and coiled up here and there like a birds nest.

This was a very dangerous situation which could have caused a fire or electrocution to an unsuspecting person carrying out works on the house.

Now both myself and the client can rest easy know the home's electrical system is much safer.

Another happy client in Bittern.

Deep in the trenches here at our job in Mornington. The client needed and wanted to rewire the light circuit as part of the renovation works going on. We are installing two light circuits instead of the original one.
