I live in a 2 bedroom unit and the 2nd room is a bit utility in its uses.

On occasion I have needed an extra bed, so I thought i would build a Chair Bed.
The base pulls out like a long drawer and the top plates sit under the cushion..
As an example of what I needed I sized this to the cushion I could find.. it is a bit boxy, but useful.

As a woodworker there is always off-cuts. One idea I have developed is screen raisers for my office in my day job in a hospital.. There is always conversations about safe workspaces and about eye levels for screens. Having moved desks i realised I needed to build one. Then my colleagues asked for one. The underlying change has been skill, material use, and overall look. Hope you enjoy these in their different looks and uses..

An everyday item that is so practical that keeping it simple is key. The best part is that shoes fit under as the angle of the legs were designed to go as long as my shoes are..

When you build beds, sometimes you need an friend to sit beside it. So i created a few different options to complete the package. 2 styles, same versatility. A place to put your phone, glass of water and a book.

If I build for cats, I cannot forget the pooch..
A bed with a small frame for these 2 little dogs. Was built to fit the cushion these dogs snuggle down into.
Can be built to size of any cushion.

In creating beds for humans, i thought about the options for pets. So i built these. 2 colour formats and uses.

The height in total is 55cm. Perfect to be used as a side table to a couch or as pictured.

The dimensions are 42cm square.

Again style can be made in all sizes.
Max height is 380mm.
