The Heartleaf Philodendron (Philodendron hederaceum) is an evergreen perennial vine, native to Tropical America. This beauty is known to be one of the easiest houseplants , perfect for indoor settings as it is able to filter gaseous toxins 🤢from the air. In good indoor conditions, it is a vigorous grower, perfect for big open spaces or trailing along a bare big wall!
General Care 🧑⚕️
Sunlight 🌞
Thrives in medium indirect light, but can tolerate low indirect light.
Water 💦
Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Increase frequency with increased light.
Humidity 💧
Any humidity level will do, but moist air will help lead to larger leaves and faster growth.
Temperature 🌡
Average home temperature of 18°C-23°C. It’s best not to let it go below 15°C.
Size
Young Philos are merely 2.5 cm tall, but this plant is low and fast growing. Without trimming, it can eventually trail 3 m long!

This is generally a very easy-going plant.

Precautions
