Glenn Perry Gardening is looking for an enthusiastic and hard working first-year apprentice gardener to join the team.
If you love working outdoors, want to learn a trade from the ground up, and are ready to study while you work, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We will support you through your Certificate III in Parks & Gardens while providing hands-on training on job sites.
Position: First-Year Apprentice Gardener
Type: Full-Time apprenticeship
Location: Mildura & surrounding district
Salary: Award + superannuation
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and assist with lawn mowing, edging, turf care, weeding, pruning, hedging and planting.
- Learn to operate and safely maintain power tools and machinery.
- Assist with minor landscaping, mulching and general irrigation tasks.
- Keep tools, equipment and work vehicles clean and organised.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working outdoors and in all weather conditions.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift moderate loads safely.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality and willingness to learn.
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport (highly preferred).
- A commitment to completing book work to obtain Certificate III in Parks & Gardens.
- Police Check and Working with Children Check.
