The community sports change-room build is entering its finishing stages.

Painting, flooring and interior fit-off works are now underway as the building moves closer to completion. Every detail is coming together inside the facility before it begins the next phase of its journey.

Built entirely at The Cabin Group facility, this project demonstrates how modular construction allows high-quality finishes to be completed in a controlled environment before transport to site.

A major milestone has been reached.

The community sports change-room facility has now reached lock-up stage, with external cladding, roofing, windows and doors installed.

Standing as one complete building in our Mildura factory, it's hard to believe this structure will soon be separated into six individual modules ready for transport.

Next up: painting, flooring and final fit-off works.

Things are moving quickly at The Cabin Group.

The wall and roof frames are now up, bringing the community sports changeroom build to life. What started as a subfloor frame is now clearly taking the shape of a fully functional building.

One of the unique aspects of this project is that it is being constructed as a complete building before being carefully separated into six transportable modules for delivery to site.

The transformation continues!

The next stage of the build is taking shape.

Floor sheeting has now been installed across the subfloor frame, creating a strong, level base for the wall and roof framing to follow.

Completing each stage in our controlled workshop environment helps keep the build precise, efficient and ready for the next milestone.

Project Update | Community Sports Change-room Facility

The Cabin Group team in Mildura has commenced construction of a new modular community sports changeroom facility. The subfloor frame is now taking shape, providing the foundation for what will eventually become a complete transportable building.

Built as one structure, delivered in six modules, and reassembled on site, this project showcases the efficiency and innovation of modern modular construction.

Another project delivered by The Cabin Group! This transportable disability access toilet block was built and customised to spec, replacing an existing facility with a fresh, functional upgrade.

Featuring a DA toilet, two ambulant toilets, three unisex toilets and a storeroom, plus reconnection of the existing verandah and decking to tie it all together. Delivered on time and on budget, this is another example of how our transportable buildings are designed around what our clients actually need.

🚧 Project in Progress – Mildura Nowingi Place Sound Shell

Our team is currently completing a 2-container fit-out down at the Nowingi Place Sound Shell.
🚻 One container includes standard toilet facilities
♿ The other features an accessible toilet and storage room

All works are on track to be finished by the middle of next week, and we can’t wait to share the completed photos once it’s all wrapped up!
