Proud to have supplied entrance matting systems for the Barwon Women’s and Children’s Hospital project, in partnership with Lockwood Flooring.

Healthcare environments place very specific demands on entrance matting. It needs to support hygiene and safety, handle heavy foot traffic, assist with moisture and debris control, and continue performing day after day in a busy public facility.

The new Barwon Women’s and Children’s will provide expanded maternity and paediatric facilities for Geelong and surrounding communities, making it exactly the kind of high-profile project where performance, reliability and attention to detail matter.

Bespoke entrance matting for a landmark Sydney setting.

We recently installed a custom entrance matting system at Bay 14, Locomotive Workshop, South Eveleigh — part of one of NSW’s most significant heritage buildings.

Originally completed in the late 1800s, the Eveleigh Locomotive Workshop played a major role in the maintenance and manufacture of steam locomotives and has now been carefully adapted into a modern commercial, retail and community precinct.

For a site like this, the entrance solution needs to do more than perform. It needs to sit comfortably within the architecture, respect the industrial heritage character, and provide the durability required for a high-traffic workplace environment.

This bespoke Birrus system was designed and manufactured to suit the specific entrance conditions, helping protect the interior while supporting the overall look and function of the space.
