First heritage window restoration 🔨

Bringing this original double-hung window back to life while retaining its original character.

The existing frame was carefully repaired, with a new bottom sash manufactured and installed like-for-like to match the original, while preserving the original leadlight upper sash.

A great result keeping this beautiful period window exactly where it belongs.

Saving the character, replacing the damage. 🪟

This original colonial window had extensive rot through the bottom section, but was far too good to replace entirely.

Damaged timber was cut out and rebuilt with new hardwood, retaining the original window, glass and colonial detailing wherever possible.

A proper timber repair ready for many more years once painted.
