Stormwater pipe hunting at Elsternwick… and no, it’s not truffle season 🍄😂
A few camera blockages, a couple of holes later, and plenty of “surely it’s here” moments with Aaron from 👷♂️

The goal: find the existing line so we can plan the new stormwater connection for the extension.
The reality: a mystery pipe running exactly where we didn’t want it, which now means deeper footings to keep everything compliant.

Just another day of problem-solving on site 🛠️

Before we even think about picking up tools, there’s a whole lot that happens behind the scenes.
Once we’ve gone through the plans, we sit down with our clients and walk through everything together... the details, the expectations, and anything that could end up unclear later on.

It’s our chance to make sure what’s on paper lines up with what they’re actually picturing, and what makes sense once we’re standing on site.
Clearing up the grey areas early means fewer surprises, smoother builds, and everyone moving in the same direction from day one.

Good communication makes good projects - it’s as simple as that 🛠️✨

Flashback to this feature wall install - perforated panels up top, solid timber detail below, and a finish that landed even better than we pictured.

These were taken mid-build, cables hanging and tools everywhere, but the final result came up unreal.
Still one of our favourite details from this project.

The Hills project is officially wrapped 👏

Fresh paint, new floors and a front door that sets the tone the second you walk in.

The wet bathroom came up unreal with the reeded shower screen, and the study joinery ties in perfectly with the timber grain.

Down in the kitchen and dining, the new sliding doors have completely changed the space - more light, more warmth, more room to breathe.

A full refresh from top to bottom, and the place feels brand new again ✨

2025 wrapped 🎄✨

When we look back on the year, the first thing that comes to mind is our team - the individuals on the ground who turn ideas into actual homes. The skill, the effort, the pride… it shows in every single project we hand over. They’re the reason our work looks the way it does.

This year brought some incredible builds, a few challenges, and a whole lot of moments that reminded us why we love what we do.

And to the people who let us into their homes and trust us with their vision - our clients - thank you. Your trust gives us the chance to do what we love every day, and it means more than you know.

New project: Elsternwick.
We’re tying a new extension onto the existing house - master, powder room, storeroom, and an ensuite that’s going to look unreal when we’re done.

All the green lines sprayed around the place? That’s us mapping out the footings and the shape of the build. Nothing random. Nothing fancy. Just the start of a solid extension.

Plenty to come from this one. Follow along 👷♂️

Progress check at our Magnolia project 👇
A big week on site with the team pushing through roofing, framing and prep work across the board.

Up in the roof space we’ve got Lachie from working on the framing for the three skylights going into the new kitchen.
Plenty of back-and-forth, a few “is that where it goes?” moments... all part of getting the details right.

A lot of moving parts on site this week, but everything’s coming together the way it should 🛠️

The herringbone feature wall, brass tapware and that timber vanity all came together even better than we pictured on paper.

It’s one of those spaces where the little details did the heavy lifting - warm tones, clean lines, and everything sitting exactly where it should.

Bathroom reveal from The Hills project 👀
This space is a bit different - a full wet area with the bath and shower all in the one zone, separated by that reeded glass screen.

The blue feature tiles were a bold pick, but they paid off. They tie in nicely with the textures, and the grey backdrop runs through the rest of the home to keep everything feeling connected.
