One off projects like this never seem to be friendly!
Needed framing material at 60x30mm.
“Sorry you’ll have to order 70x35 and machine it down”
That sentence hurt all day of pointing, ripping & dressing timber

Looking for a qualified carpenter whom is capable of running carpentry & the occasional basic landscaping job, own all necessary tools for carpentry, assisting in training apprentices & labourers, punctual, common sense and a license.

Pay rate will depend on experience, dedication and the ability to go over and above for the business.

(Sub contractor - must have all necessary insurances)

Some perfectly safe & well erected scaffolding - the client still insisted we worked off of it & the scaffolder had sent through a certificate of compliance, then when I refused to work on it I (the chippy) had to write a list of faults. Chucking some prefabbed metal sticks together shouldn’t be this hard mate.

Anyway..

Safe to say I bit the bullet, down $3000 but we packed up & went to another job

Considering most deaths in the construction industry are due to scaffold incidents this is flat out ridiculous.

Get a grip you incompetent “grown ups”, I’ve seen a more solid structure built out of lego from a kid in kindergarten.
