Another simple activity for hand-eye coordination - Using tong to pick the poms poms up into the egg tray. It also helps in strengthening their hands muscles. Even though the set up was for my youngest , I often see my 6 and 4 using it in their own play as well (cooking , construction site, counting..) Endless ways to play with such simple set up!

Our morning activities with learning materials from We worked on a few letters at a time, and got Oliver to match the pictures and letters flashcards to the play mat. We sang along to jollyphonics which is easy to find on YouTube. (My kids love the music, they are so catchy!)

Check out by Dawn, she has recently created a Literacy and Numeracy learning resource packs, and shares lots of learning tips on how we can introduce phonics, CVC, words blending, etc . They are great for kids starting school!
