Damaged panels and wiring can still be live. Avoid going onto the roof or trying to disconnect anything yourself.

Snap clear photos of the damage from the ground if possible. Notify your insurer as soon as you can — hail damage is often covered.

**ATTENTION SIGENERGY BATTERY CUSTOMERS**

With storm season on the radar, now is the perfect time to make sure your battery is ready in case of a grid outage. Preparing your **SIGENERGY battery** is quick and easy to maximise your backup power.

🔋 **How to Prepare Your SIGENERGY Battery:**

✅ **Set a high backup reserve:**
Open your app, go to **“Backup Reserve”**, and increase it to a comfortable level—at least **70-80%** or higher. This ensures you have plenty of stored energy if the power goes out.

✅ **Force charge your battery:**
1. Go to **“Operational Mode”**
2. Select **“Time of Use”**
3. Click **“Charging”**
4. Set your preferred charging time

Your battery can fully charge from **0% to 100% in around 2 hours**, so be sure to top it up before the weather hits.
