We woke up to this Google review on Monday morning. A pretty lovely way to start the week 〜

When you’ve spent months looking at your renovation plans, it can be hard to know what you might have missed.

Sometimes you just need someone experienced to sit down with you and say, “Let’s work through it together.”

That’s why we created our Project Protection Review.

If you’ve got plans, but still have a few “have we thought about…?” questions, we’d love to help.

What’s been inspiring us lately, straight from the SH team’s camera roll 〜

A reminder that, in a world of AI, some of the most beautiful inspiration comes from nature and everyday life.

Dappled morning light coming through Amy’s curtains 〜

Afternoon sun hitting the gumtrees on Taylah’s walk 〜

Tears of joy from our clients, after this presentation. Creating the feeling of ‘home’ for people is something we never take for granted 〜

Macey noticing the happiness and connection that ocean swims are bringing 〜

Amy’s plants are loving this spring weather, the kangaroo paws are starting to bloom 😍 〜

A moment for ‘Banksia’s’ materials palette, inspired by nature 〜

The view of Pittwater through the trees on one of Taylah’s strolls 〜

We are always admiring Jack’s unique coat & spotty ears 🥹 (especially Macey of course) 〜

I don’t think we’ll ever stop appreciating the beauty of a sunrise over the ocean in our hometown, Manly. We are so grateful ~

Sunday Notes 03 〜

A question we’re hearing from clients right now:

If we want to start building in 2027, when should we start planning?

The short answer? Now.

Wayfarer House, before & after 〜

Before we think about how a home should look, we need to understand how the family living in it actually wants to live.

At Wayfarer House, that meant looking beyond the existing layout and rethinking how the main spaces could be used. The result is more places to gather, more storage, a better connection to the outdoors and a home that works completely differently for this family.

Spring has arrived...and with it, that feeling of what’s next 〜

If a renovation or new project is somewhere in your future, now is a pretty good time to start thinking about it.

When getting a bit of site footage turns into a real-life example of why having the right team on your project matters 〜

Things like this happen on site every day. Luckily, our clients don’t even need to know about them, because we’ve solved the problem before it even becomes one.

Having the right team throughout construction is the difference between costly mistakes and getting the details right as they’re being built.

Sunday Notes 02 〜

Your renovation might have all the right experts.

But who’s looking after the project as a whole?

Because having the best people in the room only works when someone is connecting the dots.

The best time to fix a problem in your renovation or build, is before it becomes one 〜

Most homeowners spend months planning their renovation or new build.

But few stop to ask:

Will this layout actually work for the way we live?
Is the scope aligned with our budget?
Are we making decisions now that could become expensive to change later?

Our Project Protection Review is designed to answer those questions before approvals, engineering and construction begin.

It’s an early-stage review that helps identify missed opportunities, refine layouts, align scope and investment, and ultimately save time, money and stress later in the process.

Because it’s far more cost effective to refine plans on paper than once the project is progressing toward construction.
