Natbuild is heading to Hobart this October!

It’s been more than a decade since we last brought a Natbuild Conference to Hobart, and we’re looking forward to bringing our members and suppliers together at Crowne Plaza Hobart for a few great days of networking, industry insights and connection.

One of the highlights of the conference will be our Natbuild Awards Night, where we’ll come together to celebrate the achievements of our Members and Suppliers of the Year.

We’re looking forward to recognising some of the fantastic people and businesses across the Natbuild network and celebrating their achievements together in Hobart!

A simple question can make a real difference.

This R U OK? Day, Natbuild is reminding everyone across our network to take the time to check in with the people around them.

A colleague, a customer, a supplier, a mate, sometimes asking “R U OK?” and genuinely listening is all it takes to start an important conversation.

Look out for each other, today and every day.

Ask. Listen. Encourage action.

For Natbuild, growth is about more than just getting bigger. It’s about helping our members build stronger, more profitable businesses.

A big part of that is making sure our members have access to the right information, tools and programs to help them make good decisions and find opportunities for growth. Our focus is on a few key areas:

Using real data to better understand performance and opportunities

Providing tools that make doing business easier and more efficient

Developing programs that deliver genuine value for our members

Helping members promote their offer and the value they provide to their customers

Our members are proudly independent businesses, and we want to help them stay that way.

By helping each member strengthen their business, we strengthen the Natbuild group as a whole.

After 19 years as part of the Natbuild Group, our Adelaide Conference gave us the chance to say farewell to John Lindsay as he heads into retirement.

It was great to have one last conference together and hear John share a few words with the group. Over the years, John has been a valued member of the Natbuild family, and his contribution to the group has been significant.

We'll certainly miss seeing him at our events, but we're sure retirement won't keep him away for too long and we look forward to keeping in touch.

Thanks for everything, John, and enjoy this next chapter. You've earned it!

One of the most valuable parts of every Natbuild Conference is bringing together industry experts and thought leaders to share insights that help our members and Premium Suppliers navigate an ever-changing business landscape.

From economic outlooks and technology trends to business strategy and industry developments, this year's speaker program was carefully selected to provide practical, relevant information that attendees can take back to their businesses and put into action.

A huge thank you to all of our speakers for sharing their knowledge and helping equip our network with the tools and insights needed to make informed business decisions.

What a fantastic couple of days in Adelaide for the Natbuild Conference this week.

Members and premium supplier partners came together for two days of industry insight, connection, and collaboration.

From valuable group updates and market insights with Ben Gilbert and Mike Barry, to a fun evening at the National W**e Centre of Australia, it was an event to remember.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended. We’re already looking forward to doing it again in Hobart this October!

We’re excited to announce a standout session at our upcoming Adelaide Natbuild Conference: A Market Outlook with Ben Gilbert.

Our Chairman, Mike Barry, will be sitting down with Ben Gilbert, Head of Australian Research at Jarden, for a candid Q&A on the forces shaping today’s business landscape.

With over 15 years in financial markets, Ben is one of Australia’s most respected consumer analysts, known for his sharp, data-driven thinking across retail and consumer sectors.

Together, they’ll unpack:
• The trends defining the current business environment
• Emerging opportunities worth watching
• Shifts in customer behaviour
• The key challenges businesses are navigating right now

This session will bring together both members and suppliers for valuable discussion, insight, and perspective on where the market is heading.

A session not to be missed for those joining us in Adelaide.

We’re heading to Adelaide with an exciting agenda of strategic discussions, one-on-one sessions, updates and plenty of networking. And, of course, there'll be opportunities to unwind and enjoy what Adelaide has to offer. We look forward to making this conference another memorable event for the group.

Watch this space!
