Most people see the flowers.
They see the beautiful blooms, the festivals, the smiling photos, and the flower fields.
What they don't see are the years behind them.
In 2016, I moved to Australia and found myself waiting for a visa, feeling uncertain about what was next. To fill my time, I started gardening.
In 2018, I joined the Bendigo Chrysanthemum Club and came home with 10 pots.
In 2019, I posted a bunch of chrysanthemums on Facebook Marketplace for Mother's Day.
One bunch.
That's all it was.
I never imagined that one small step would lead to a flower farm, thousands of visitors, flower festivals, and a business that supports our family.
Along the way there were plenty of reasons to stop.
COVID.
Three pregnancies.
Sleepless nights.
Part-time work.
Financial pressure.
Doubt.
Exhaustion.
There was never a perfect time.
And that's the lesson I want to share.
If you're waiting until life is less busy, until you have more money, more experience, or more confidence, you might be waiting forever.
The truth is, most dreams are built in the middle of chaos.
You start before you're ready.
You learn as you go.
You make mistakes.
You keep showing up.
One flower.
One customer.
One day at a time.
Today, we're still growing. Still learning. Still dreaming.
Thank you to every customer, supporter, friend, family member, and follower who has been part of this journey. You have helped turn a simple hobby into something far bigger than I ever imagined.
And if you have a dream sitting in your heart, this is your reminder:
Start now.
🌸 Your future self will thank you.
