We were called out to investigate a suspected water leak and, after getting underground, found this damaged/broken water main hiding beneath the lawn. 💧🌱

That shocking green colour in this shower isn’t a strange tile or a paint job — it’s fluorescein dye!

Fluorescein is a highly visible fluorescent dye that can be used to trace water movement, identify leaks and investigate where water is travelling. Under the right conditions, even a tiny amount can produce an incredibly vivid green result — just like the one pictured here. 🔍💧
