Celebrating Gene’s Life 🤍

Gene’s funeral will be held at Laidley Chapel at 10:00am.

From there, we will be doing a drive to honour him — with an XB Falcon leading Gene down the highway, followed by a line of cars as a tribute.

We will then arrive at Gatton Cemetery at 11:30am to lay him to rest.

Following this, we will be holding an open celebration of Gene’s life at the Gatton Golf Club from 12:30pm.

Everyone is welcome to come along, share stories, and help us honour the amazing person he was.

Hey everyone 🤍

On behalf of Brooke and the kids,

As we’re getting ready to say goodbye to Gene, they really want to give him the send-off he deserves.

Gene absolutely loved his cars , especially old school V8s, JDM cars, and anything with a bit of power behind it. It was such a big part of who he was.

We’re reaching out to see if anyone would be willing to help organise or be part of a line-up of cars for his funeral. Even just showing up would mean so much to Brooke and the kids, and help make it really special for him.

It is with the heaviest, most broken hearts that we share that, unfortunately, Gene passed away on Tuesday, the 31st of March.

Gene was not only the heart behind this business, but a devoted partner and father who worked tirelessly for his family. Everything he did was with pride, strength, and love.

This business was a reflection of who he was hardworking, genuine, and someone who truly cared about people.

We ask for your understanding and kindness during this incredibly difficult time for Brooke & there two children

He will be missed more than words can say, and his legacy will live on in everything he built

💛 Little Helper on Site Today 🚜

Today I had my 9-year-old daughter helping me on the job, and I absolutely loved teaching her a few things about what we do.

There’s something special about being able to show your kids the value of hard work, learning new skills, and taking pride in what you do. She was so excited to be involved and lend a hand!

Moments like this remind me why I love what we do at Genius Earthmoving , building not just great work, but great memories too.
