Another challenging remedial waterproofing project completed.

This long glass skylight had reached the end of its service life, with the original joint system failing and allowing water ingress.

The process:

* Removed all existing jointing.
* Installed new backing rod and RA 050 sealant.
* Ground all concrete surfaces to prepare the substrate.
* Primed the concrete with Ardex WPM 300 Epoxy.
* Applied Ardex Optima Tile Adhesive slurry to the glass for adhesion.
* Installed STB Tape to reinforce the junction.
* Applied 3 coats of Ardex 303 Facade Coating to complete the waterproofing system.

Remedial waterproofing is all about preparation and using the right products in the right sequence to deliver a long-lasting result.

Another one wrapped up!

We’ve just completed 5 epic wet areas for VIROLA GROUP down in Evans Head. Waterproofing is all finished and ready for the next stage.

Always a pleasure working on jobs built on quality workmanship, and these screeds were no exception. Huge thanks to Rob for another top-notch screed job makes our work that much easier when the substrate is spot on.

Looking forward to seeing these spaces come together.
