We’re Hiring – Apprentice Plumber
Jim’s Plumbing Launceston is looking for another apprentice to join our team.
We’re happy to take on someone completely new to the trade, or a current 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentice looking for a change.
If you’ve got a good attitude, turn up on time, ask questions and are keen to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.
One of the best parts about working with us is the variety. We don’t spend every day doing the same thing.
You’ll be working towards your Certificate III in Plumbing, becoming a qualified Plumber, Gas Fitter and Roof Plumber, while also gaining plenty of hands-on experience in tile roofing through our Jim’s Roofing team.
Some of the work you’ll get involved in includes:
* General plumbing maintenance
* Gas fitting
* Blocked drains
* Hot water systems
* Real estate maintenance
* Bathroom and kitchen renovations
* New home builds
* Roof plumbing
* Tile roof repairs
* Roof leak repairs
* Gutters, flashings and downpipes
If you enjoy learning new skills and don’t want to spend your apprenticeship doing the same job day after day, you’ll fit in well here.
What we’re looking for:
* No experience needed – we’re happy to train the right person.
* Current apprentices (1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year) are also encouraged to apply.
* Reliable and willing to have a go.
* Takes pride in their work.
* White Card is desirable.
* Learner’s licence minimum (P-plates or full licence preferred).
* Able to obtain a Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People registration.
