This little snake was located in one of our Bee swarm capture boxes in amongst the frames and gave us quite the surprise when we pulled the frame out

After removing him from the swarm capture box, we successfully relocated him into bushland close by

Certainly another name you can trust!

The end of winter means you should start to see those fox pups emerging from their dens.

Younger foxes are easier to call in and destroy. The older animals have seen some action and keep their distance.
Not that they are a problem for the long range bang stick.
..................

Last season we set up on a patch that foxes were regularly moving thru.

I noted 3 'rabbits' near us, which on closer inspection were fox pups.
In the grass we could easily see the animals in the thermal, but it wasnt until one moved onto open ground that we could see it was a fox pup.

Needless to say the night was a success.

Another small win for environmental management services.

MOUSE IN THE HOUSE!

Recently we where contacted by a client who was interested in having us help service her hives, they had been bee-less for a while and to our surprise when we opened one a little fury surprise had made it his home!

After a good clean out and service the hives were ready to have their new occupants introduced.

Today marks a special milestone for Sunset Rural Services as we officially welcome a second vehicle to our fleet.

To most people, it's just an older model MN Triton. To us, it's so much more than that.

When this Triton came up for sale in immaculate condition, there wasn't a moment's hesitation. We had to have it. Not because it was the newest or flashiest vehicle on the market, but because this particular model holds a special place in our hearts.

Many years ago, my brothers founded Stella Pest Management, and I later came on board to manage and help grow the business. Together, we built Stella into one of Perth's fastest-growing and most dynamic pest control companies. Every suburb, every early morning, every late night, every challenge we overcame—it was all done with the mighty MN Triton leading the way.

I've recently had the privilege of bringing the Stella name back home, and now seeing an MN Triton wearing the Sunset Rural Services name feels like coming full circle. It brings back the determination, passion and work ethic that helped shape who we are today.

This isn't just another vehicle joining the fleet. It's a reminder of where we've come from and the values that got us here: hard work, genuine service, and always striving to be better.

As Sunset Rural Services continues to grow, we're more motivated than ever to push the limits of what's possible in pest control—delivering solutions that are safer for families, kinder to the environment, and achieve even better results.

The signwriting is going on very soon, and once those Sunset Rural Services stickers are proudly on her sides, she'll be out on the road doing what she was built to do.

So keep an eye out... because there's a very good chance this little MN Triton will be visiting a house near you soon.
