WE'RE HIRING – Painters, Brush Hands & Labourers | Sonder Painting & Restoration

Sonder Painting is a premium rural painting & restoration company based in Inverell, regularly working stations and homesteads out west (Walgett, Collarenebri, Rowena and surrounds).

We have immediate openings and are looking for reliable, hardworking people to join our team:
•Qualified Painter – $45/hr
•Brush Hand – $37/hr
•Labourer – $30/hr

What sets us apart:
•Home every weekend — Work Monday–Friday out west, home Friday afternoon
•Accommodation + all meals provided while away (big saving on living costs)
•Access to company vehicles
•Modern, high-quality equipment (Graco sprayers, dustless sanding, proper height access scaffold)
•Consistent forward workload with overtime opportunities (typically 5–10 hrs/week)
•Opportunity to grow with a scaling premium business

Requirements:
•Valid driver’s licence
•Reliable, physically fit, positive attitude
•Based in or willing to be based in Inverell
•Immediate start available for the right people.

Closing out one of the biggest projects we’ve undertaken to date.

Months of preparation, logistics, coordination, problem-solving and long days out west — all coming together now as we move toward final completion.

Projects like this are never just about paint. They’re about sequencing, consistency, communication and keeping momentum across a large remote site over an extended period of time.

Bairnkine has been a significant project for our crew and we’re looking forward to bringing it across the line over the coming weeks.

After completing the entire interior repaint (high ceilings, detailed walls, and extensive prep), we’ve moved outside to deliver the full exterior coating — including all weatherboards, windows, gutters, and fascia.
