Attended an emergency call out this morning, because the tenant had no power. Upon opening the switchboard it was found that the main switch had burned out likely from age and how close we live to the water here in Burrum Heads.

This situation could have ended a lot worse with the beginnings of a house fire just waiting to happen. Thankfully that wasn’t the case and a full switchboard upgrade was completed with a very happy tenant, to have her power back.

Even small issues with your switchboard can turn ugly quick! So if you haven’t had your switchboard looked at or you recognise some of the old breakers in the photos, I would highly recommend giving us a call so we can avoid potentially hazardous situations like this affecting your home, by installing safety switches on all circuits.

Well yesterday was a well deserved day off for Khody and Myself and of course our great mate Jai from Sandow Contracting! Taking part in The mates golf day, supporting mental health in our community. It was a great day, and it was fantastic to see so many other business, big and small, getting behind such an important issue that affects so many of us, in all stages of our lives!

Khody Birt did a runner on us before we could get a photo, otherwise he would be standing there with us.

As most of you will know, I live in Burrum Heads and I am very proud to say so… So why not put up a great big sign to let everyone know I am a true local!

📞 Report damaged wires or cables to the property owner immediately. If you are the property owner, contact a licensed electrical contractor to repair and make the area safe.
