We've been busy this August and September! 🔥🌿

We were proud to be part of the construction crew for the Burning at the Longley International Hotel, what a night.

We also gave a lovely garden a refresh to help the owners stay on top of it, and tried our hand at paving (it came up pretty nice, if we say so ourselves).

Big news: George the dachshund has a new little brother, Rupert. He's quite cute, so expect plenty more dashy content in the coming months. 🐾

And Sarah has been studying a Diploma of Sustainability at UTas, and is really enjoying the Science in Gardening modules which has brought some great new ideas we can't wait to bring to your gardens.

And just like that the dino’s are gone!

A huge thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket and supported us this year and every other year.

Unfortunately there is a chance this may have been the last one.

Each year we have managed to break even, but this year we finished with a $10,000 loss. With the huge costs involved in putting the event on, that simply isn’t sustainable.

We know the fireworks can be enjoyed from outside the event, and we love that they bring the community together. But when people choose to watch without purchasing a ticket, it makes it much harder for us to continue.

We are just trying to be transparent with the reality of putting events on.

We do love to bring joy and light during winter but for now we will have a well-earned rest and see if we can come up with another way to make it viable 🔥🎆

4 months of work for one hour of most awesome fun!

Thank you to Longley Hotel for hosting the burn,
to Bright Star Fireworks for bringing it to life with explosives,
to Joel Hopson for the music mixing and Jules for the cello and transporting our giants.
Thank you to the build team Ben Rainbird Johan Mets Sez Rainbird and Ghost Tree Tasmania + others.
And a huge thank you to our audience who braved the cold to support our event!
