This South Arm project, completed earlier this year, has turned out beautifully and is one we’re incredibly proud of.
The existing pergola was transformed by framing it in and installing three large windows, allowing the stunning garden outlook to remain the focal point. The exterior was finished with Ekodeck cladding, while the interior was lined with whitewashed marine ply, complemented by Tas oak window trims and a custom Tas oak breakfast bar beneath one of the windows.
As part of the renovation, we also replaced the existing guttering and installed a new rainwater tank to improve water catchment, ensuring the upgrades were both practical and built to last.
To really elevate the space, we suggested replacing the old steps and polishing the existing concrete slab inside. Wendy loved the idea, and those finishing touches completely changed the feel of the room, creating a bright, warm and inviting space that seamlessly connects with the garden.
To finish it off, strip lighting and downlights were installed, making it the perfect place to enjoy those warm summer evenings.
With the building work complete, we moved into the garden, giving the landscape a fresh new look that tied everything together beautifully.
A huge thank you to Wendy for putting her trust in myself and the team while she was away. It’s always a privilege to be given that level of confidence, and we’re all absolutely thrilled with how this project came together.
We can’t wait to see this space being enjoyed for many years to come.
