🏠 Another Rokeby Home Completed 🐻

A big one ticked off for the Bear Plastered team! 💪

We took this new build from bare frames right through to a clean, ready-for-paint plaster finish. Plenty of work went into this one, especially through the large open-plan areas and around all those beams.

✔️ Full house plasterboard installation
✔️ Ceilings and walls sheeted
✔️ Beams and bulkheads finished
✔️ All joints, internals & externals trowelled
✔️ Ready for sanding and the final finish

🚿 Bathroom transformation underway in beautiful Spring Beach! 🛠️

Another quality project completed by Bear Plastered. This bathroom was fully sheeted and professionally stopped, taking it from bare plasterboard to a smooth finish that’s ready for waterproofing, tiling and the final fit-out.

Every joint, corner and reveal was finished with care to ensure a clean, long-lasting result. We take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship on every job, whether it’s a new build, renovation or extension.

Another kitchen transformation underway! 🏡✨

We’ve recently started work on this kitchen renovation for a lovely elderly client, and from day one our priority has been more than just the plastering—it’s been making sure her home stays as clean and comfortable as possible throughout the process.

Every surface has been carefully covered, plastic barriers have been installed, and we’ve taken extra care to control and remove dust each day to help prevent it from spreading through the rest of the house. We know renovations can be disruptive, so we always aim to treat every home with the same care and respect we’d expect in our own.

The kitchen is coming together nicely, with all joints taped, coated and prepared for a smooth finish ready for paint. We can’t wait to show you the finished result!

Bringing a 100-year-old Sandy Bay home back to life. 🏡

There’s something special about working on a home that’s stood the test of time. This week we’ve been carefully repairing and restoring cracked ceilings and walls throughout this beautiful heritage property in Sandy Bay, making sure the original character is preserved while giving it a solid, long-lasting finish.

Every crack repaired is another step towards bringing this home back to life, and this is only the beginning. We’ve got plenty more restoration work to complete throughout the house, and we’re looking forward to seeing the transformation unfold.

🏡 Another quality finish completed in Rokeby! 🐻

We’ve recently wrapped up the plastering on this brand-new home in Rokeby, delivering crisp square-set finishes throughout, clean lines, and a smooth finish ready for paint.

From the feature ceilings to every wall, hallway, bedroom, and wet area, we take pride in making sure every detail is finished to the highest standard. It’s always rewarding seeing a project come together and knowing the owners are one step closer to moving into their new home.

Stage One Complete 🔥

Big progress on this house renovation — stage one all wrapped up and ready for the next step.

From old to fresh:
✔️ Full sheeting done
✔️ Walls straightened up
✔️ Set, stopped & ready for finish
✔️ Clean lines, smooth finish 👌

Not everything was square on this one, but we worked through it and got it looking mint.

On to stage two 💪

Big custom home coming together 🐻

We’ve been busy on this one — full house lined, set and ready for the next stage.

✔️ Villa board right through both bathrooms, toilet & laundry
✔️ Clean set-out ready for tiling and fit-off
✔️ Feature brick wall tying into the living space
✔️ Large raked ceiling in the main area
✔️ Troweled out at 600mm joints to reduce light show-through and keep it looking mint

This job had a lot of natural light coming through those big windows, so getting the ceilings right was key. Extra time on the joints makes all the difference once paint goes on 👌

Plenty of detail in this build and it’s shaping up to be a cracker.
