Fungal disease is often a symptom, not the root cause.

After weeks of wet weather, this lawn developed signs of fungal disease. The first step was treating it with Rapid Aqua 500 (iprodione).

A week later, I followed up with KelpXtra, RootMaxx and humic acid, then watered it in to support soil health, encourage stronger root development and help the lawn recover.

Remember, healthy turf starts below the surface.

Common causes of fungal disease:
• Prolonged wet weather.
• Excessive thatch trapping moisture.
• A stressed root system caused by poor soil conditions.

The goal isn’t just to treat the disease, it’s to improve the growing environment so the lawn becomes healthier and more resilient over time.
