Look at the Q1 pic and then the others images. Our people are working on top of the crown, on top of the Q1 building 270 metres above the ground. Some basic facts about the build.
1. 100% RIS designed and delivered
2. 100% Australian
3. 200% hard work
4. All the gear for the entire job has been made to fit in the Q1 lifts
5. The entire job has been erected by hand, old school style no cranes on
this job
6. Every item is double attached 1 main lanyard, 1 secondary lanyard so we can’t drop anything off or on the building
7. We have covered the entire work area in nets vertically and horizontally to catch any dropped objects if the lanyard control should happen to fail
8. We have a second layered of protective membrane in case the net failed above the glass on level 77 of the SkyPoint
9. We have a team of 14 awesome workers on site
a. 1 Construction Manager (12 hours days 6 days a week he is a freak)
b. 6 Rope Techs level 1, 2 & 3 IRATA Trained (hats off to these guys they are awesome)
c. 1 Site Admin/TA (deals with me poor guy)
d. 1 Advanced Rigger (knowledge is a wonderful thing)
e. 5 labourers (poor guys get the hard work up and down all day)
10. Oh and did I mention there is no handrail on the open side of the climb you get an un obstructed view and a massive adrenaline rush a truly titanic exsperiance.
